BIOGRAPHY:
Don Miller remembers playing disc jockey and recording around the house onto reel to reel tapes, but it was the cassette recorder he got at age nine that pretty much sealed his future in the industry.
His passion for the mechanics of recording took him first to radio. In fact it was a position as a program director with a local radio station that first brought Don to the Kansas City area from Tulsa, Oklahoma. The production room at the radio station was his lab for learning the basics of recording. Still, radio was not where Don saw his future, and he longed for his own production company.
The next step came in the form of an opportunity to partner with a local video production company as its audio counterpart. Thus was born Airborne Audio Productions, August 8, 1988.
Don lives with his wife Tara. He enjoys water skiing, dark chocolate, the Beatles, watching Chiefs football, Les Miserables, the manicotti at Buca di Beppo, healthy gourmet cooking, Andy Griffith, Phantom of the Opera, Paul McCartney,  and American Idol.
